Only coaches can create teams on SportsVision. Athletes cannot join a team without receiving an access code from their coach. In the free tier version, each coach is granted one credit to create a single team.

How to create a team in SportsVision

To create a team in SportsVision, as a coach, follow these steps:

  1. Login to the SportsVision app and select the Coach profile.
  2. Navigate to the Team tab to manage and create your teams.
  3. Click on Create New Team.
  4. Enter your team name, select your sport, and click Next.
  5. Upload a team icon, add a short description, and click Create Team.
  6. A confirmation message, “Team created successfully,” will appear.

How to Invite athletes to the team

To invite players into the team, as a coach follow these steps:

  1. Login to the SportsVision app and select the Coach profile.

  2. Go to the Team tab to manage and create your teams.

  3. Under the Manage Your Teams section find the team to which the user wants to add the players and click on it.

  4. On the team page, tap on the “+” icon at the bottom of the screen.

  5. You’ll see two options to invite team members:

    1. Mail Invite:
      1. Click Invite by Email
      2. Enter the email address and select the player’s role.
      3. Click Add Member
      4. Repeat to send multiple invitations.
      5. Once ready, click Invite by Email to send invitations.
      6. A confirmation message, “Request sent successfully,” will appear.
    2. CSV Invite:
      1. Click on Upload CSV
      2. You can choose either a CSV/XLSX file that contains the list of user email addresses and roles.
      3. Click on Upload CSV/XLSX.
      4. Click on Submit.
      5. A confirmation message, “Request sent successfully,” will appear.

How to Join a Team

To join a team on SportsVision as an athlete, follow these steps:

  1. Login to the SportsVision app and select the athlete profile.
  2. Check your email for a message from your coach with the subject “Team Join Request”. Copy the access code provided in the email.
